New Oneohtrix Point Never - Zebra

After debuting "Problem Areas" early last month, Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never, is back with another taste of his forthcoming R Plus Seven LP, "Zebra."

The heady, masterfully complex track cracks in at about seven minutes, but it feels like it trips on to a possible endless extreme. The beauty of Lopatin's project is that the inescapable endless rift seems to effortlessly tapped into, whether it comes from Rifts or his new album. And as enjoyably diverse and deep as "Zebra" comes to be, it only feels like a microcosm of something much bigger.

Mount Kimbie - Home Recording

UK producer duo Mount Kimbie, months after the release of Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, have debuted the slow-shot new video for "Home Recording." Director Anthony Dickenson took charge of the effort, strewing an array of image and lighting contrasts for the slow-burn dub-infused track, making it seem ever more desolate and wanting.

New Boards Of Canada - Reach For The Dead

After walking through cryptic Record Store Day loops, the ever-elusive and admirable Scottish brother duo Boards Of Canada has released the first full-fledged track from its upcoming Tomorrow's Harvest LP.

The hazy death walk of "Reach For The Dead" came a day after the duo pulled off the mysterious Tokyo promotion, which counted down the first world-premiere of the official full new material. The album is the first studio LP in the Boards Of Canada catalog in nearly eight years.

The Black Dog's FACT mix

One of electronica's most renown predecessors and pioneers of the '90s IDM movement, The Black Dog, have contributed one of FACT Mag's more memorable mixes in recent months.

 As one of the primary forerunners of Sheffield label Warp Records, the trio managed to squeeze in some label alums, starting off the another IDM mainstay, Autechre. The mix sticks mostly with a transfixed and adored '90s movement, and a couple new digs just for the mix.
