Big Sean - Control (HOF) (ft. Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica)

In case you live under a Twitter rock, everyone has been going nuts (and that's saying it lightly) about Kendrick Lamar's verse on Big Sean's "Control (HOF)." The track debuted yesterday on Funkmaster Flex's show on Hot 97, which manages to stretch over seven-and-a-half minutes of verses from the three accompanying parties. Lamar's verse, however, seems to be overshadowing some fairly good verses from Sean and Jay Electronica, as Lamar calls out a litany of current rappers - including the other two on the exact same song. Andre 3000 and Eminem are safe, however.

Feel the hype, listen below.

New Wu-Tang Clan - Family Reunion

Hot 97's DJ Rosenberg, gladly accepting the gift, got an early listen to "Family Reunion," the newest music from the all-world rap collective Wu-Tang Clan. While the radio cut was kinda flimsy, the group debuted the RZA-produced track on its Bandcamp, which is taking orders for the 7" right now.

Only two copies can be ordered per customer, which will be limited to 500 copies. Otherwise, stream the soulful new track below and expect it on the group's next album later this year.

DJ Peter Rosenberg's 'New York Renaissance' Mixtape

Massive is an understatement here.

New York's resident DJ Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 assimilated some of the city's best new names, including rising superstars A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, Flatbush Zombies, Homeboy Sandman, producer Harry Fraud and many more on his New York Renaissance mixtape, which deserves your undivided attention.

Stream and/or download the entire 17-track mix below and consider your day solid.

New Action Bronson - Strictly 4 My Jeeps

Chef turned lovable Queens rapper Action Bronson, fresh off the release of his two stellar 2012 mixtapes Blue Chips and Rare Chandeliers, has a brand new - "Strictly 4 My Jeeps."

The Harry Fraud-produced track - complete with one of best backing beats in early 2013 - premiered late yesterday on Hot 97. There's a definite '90s rap feel here, with backing emergency horns and deep snares. Stream it below.
