Is it too much out of line to think that OLD might end up being the best rap album of 2013?

It's got steep competition with Chance The Rapper's Acid Rap and Run The Jewels (BOTH STILL FOR FREE), but first indications of the delayed Danny Brown follow-up to 2011's XXX are extremely high. Case and point; "ODB."

The oddball production from Brown's producer Paul White (who also produced XXX) is nothing short of extraordinary on the track, which has a fittingly bizarre video to go along with it. It's a serious must listen.

OLD is set for release September 30 on Fool's Gold.

New Paul White - Lolita

While he's been steady at work helping Danny Brown produce his next LP, UK producer Paul White is only a few days from unveiling his full Watch The Ants EP. The newest cut from the EP, which hits July 29 via One-Handed Music, is the heavy instrumental "Lolita." Pre-orders of the EP are still available. Otherwise, check out the new track below.

New Paul White - Watch The Ants

Frequent Danny Brown producer Paul White debuted "Watch The Ants," the jubilant marching anthem from his upcoming EP of the same name yesterday. The track, available to stream below, features a clever array of vocal loops that may not seemingly mesh well together, but come through with a spiral of percussion and subtle keys.

Pre-orders for the aforementioned EP are available now via White's Bandcamp, with Watch The Ants set for release July 28.

Paul White - Street Lights (ft. Danny Brown)

A day after Danny Brown brought us the Skywlkr-produced "Kush Coma," XXX producer Paul White revealed his recent collaboration with rapper on his upcoming "Street Lights" 12".

Noticeably darker than the aforementioned "Kush Coma," Brown turns his serious voice on over lifting war drums and murder stories. For a guy that might come off as goofy as times, it's hard to forget his real Detroit upbringing.
