Mixtape: Flatbush Zombies - BetteroffDEAD


Ultra-prolific rap trio Flatbush Zombies just burst your Thursday wide open with the brand new BetteroffDEAD mixtape. Group member Erick Arc Elliott does the majority of the production, but two of the 19 tracks feature help from Harry Fraud and Obey City. Additionally, OLD rapper Danny Brown sits in on "Drug Parade" and Action Bronson helps out with a guest verse on "Club Soda."

New Flatbush Zombies - Palm Trees


"Lions don't lose sleep over the opinions of sheep" might make any Tywin Lannister fan's ears perk up, even if it comes from a Flatbush Zombies track mostly about weed. The throaty "Palm Trees," graced with the excellent cover of Master Roshi's island hut (references a plenty), comes from the group's upcoming Better Off Dead mixtape. Mixtape: Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire - Kismet


Another year, another mixtape. New York's Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire, who's quickly laid claim to the best name and work ethic in the movement, released the brand new 16-track mixtape Kismet yesterday. The whole set, which is available to stream and download below, features another lengthy crew of notable helping hands, including Danny Brown, Nacho Picasso, and Flatbush Zombies, among a range of different producers.

New Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire - Noble Drew Ali


Pulling in heavy horns and low-hum beats, Constrobuz gives Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire a sample worth his thicker-than-most verses on "Noble Drew Ali." The song comes from his upcoming mixtape Kimset, which will be featuring the likes of Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies, Heron, and more.

Lunice's Boiler Room set at SXSW

The Boiler Room is on an unbelievable roll lately.

After releasing John Talabot's recent set in Miami, and shortly after Death Grips manic SXSW set, the Boiler Room has another SXSW spot worth your attention.

Lunice's Austin set comes off a tad slow at the beginning, but things turn up to unbelievable degrees once Denino Farrar, Flatbush Zombies, and Mykki Blanco storm out. The finale culminates with TNGHT's remix of Kanye West's "Cold" and finally "Higher Ground" with the whole place ready to explode. See the whole thing below.
