My boy Mikey runs the site Badical Beats and is putting on a free party at SXSW on FRIDAY.
His band is Afghan Raiders... I am new to these guys but so far so good. It's pretty rad for them to be playing with some of these bands, it bodes well for their future, for sure. Congrats on the show guys.
Girls, who I have blogged about quite a bit here, are the one band I am probably most excited about right now. I can not wait for new material from these guys. And what do you know? My boy has them at his party! So great, I wish I could be there...
